Very pleased with the performance of the telephoto lens and 4k clarity. The app interface to control the lens switching is well done too. A nice upgrade over the G3.

Aqara is the only smart home products I will be purchasing. High quality, easy to use, connects easily with your existing systems, really great price for the tech you’re getting.

Th item was DOA. Unit would not power on at all.

The outer Amazon box was fine, but the product packaging inside was torn, felt like a returned or mishandled item perhaps? I tried various 5V/2A and 5V/3A power adapters, different USB-C cables (including the cable included), multiple outlets, and tried both reset methods (holding power button for 10 seconds per app instruction and rapid pressing the power button 10 times per paper instructions). No luck.

As a longtime fan of Aqara, this was really disappointing. Was excited for this release, but was unable to get it powered on.

Also worth noting:

Arrived 3 days late (not their fault, but still frustrating)

No power adapter included (expected, but annoying at this price)

Damaged internal packaging

Overall, not a great first experience for newly release item.

The fact that I'm paying this much and they don't even throw in a power supply is insane. They were kind enough to include a USB-C to -C cable, but you'll need to find your own 5v-2A power supply. And of course, almost all of those are USB-A.

A very stable camera with an added bonus as a hub. It works well in my Apple HomeKit and the hub feature allows adding non matter accessories. It has more features in the Aqara app than I’ve ventured to use yet. I’m fine with the quality and performance to date.

“Working great and very easy to set up — a must-have!”

This is the second camera I've received; the first one came with a defect. In security mode, the lenses didn't retract completely, they stayed halfway. The motor made a noise, but it seemed to have some resistance.

I returned it the same day, and they sent a new one the next day.

I'm setting up a system in SmartThings in Matter and Thread, and this camera is suitable for my project.

The camera:

It's the first security camera I've had;

The image and camera quality is excellent;

It does what I need: continuous recording, alerts for people, animals, movement, and noise, and without paying for cloud services.

It has a paid cloud option with more features, but I don't need them.

The follow-the-person function has some difficulty tracking a person's movement; if they're running, it can't follow them.

I also noticed some delay in handling the camera.

Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase (it needs a 5V 2A charger).

In SmartThings, I can only view the image and receive alerts. To have all the camera's features, it is necessary to install the Aqara application; it is installed on both applications without any operational problems or connection breaks.

Dopo aver provato diversi prodotti, posso dire senza ombra di dubbio che questa Aqara G350 gioca in un'altra categoria. La qualità costruttiva è eccellente: si percepisce fin dal primo tocco la robustezza e la cura nei materiali, dando subito la sensazione di un dispositivo premium.

​Ecco i punti che mi hanno lasciato completamente soddisfatto:

​Qualità video e ottica: L'immagine in 4K è superiore, incredibilmente nitida in ogni condizione di luce. La lente con zoom è semplicemente spettacolare, permettendo di ingrandire i dettagli senza perdere definizione.

​Modalità Privacy Reale (e "cute"!): Questa è una caratteristica fondamentale e una delle migliori sul mercato. Quando si attiva la modalità privacy, l'obiettivo ruota fisicamente all'interno e si nasconde del tutto, garantendo una sicurezza visiva reale e matematica al 100%. In più, il design è simpaticissimo: sul corpo della telecamera compaiono due occhietti che dormono. Davvero un'ottima idea, sicura e bella da vedere!

​Intelligenza Artificiale al top: La rilevazione della persona è praticamente perfetta. Con la mia vecchia telecamera ricevevo continui falsi allarmi (ad esempio, mi arrivavano notifiche ogni volta che il robot aspirapolvere si metteva a lavare il pavimento); con la G350 i falsi positivi sono azzerati perché riconosce esattamente ciò che accade. Anche le funzioni di riconoscimento dei volti e dei gesti sono comodissime e rispondono senza sballare un colpo.

​Velocità e Avvisi: Gli avvisi sono istantanei, la notifica arriva sullo smartphone un attimo dopo il rilevamento.

​Applicazione e Widget: L'app ufficiale è completa e sviluppata benissimo. Una chicca fantastica è la possibilità di personalizzare la gestione della casa applicando dei "widget" specifici a seconda delle proprie esigenze, rendendo il controllo rapidissimo.

​Integrazione Smart: Lato domotica è un mostro di versatilità. L'integrazione nativa con le scene di Google Home funziona al 100%, e grazie al supporto Matter si integra in modo perfetto e locale con Home Assistant. Zero lag, massima stabilità.

​In conclusione:

Se cercate una telecamera che non scenda a compromessi su qualità visiva, intelligenza software, sicurezza della privacy e integrazione domotica, l'avete trovata. Costa il giusto per quello che offre e vale ogni singolo centesimo. Straconsigliata!

G3ハブの劣化版。Zigbeeから threadに変わっているのは良いが、赤外線リモコンの登録が省かれている。これは大失態といえるだろう。ペットカメラとしては優秀だが、値段を考えるとこれを選ぶだろうか？

G3のに特徴にはジェスチャーによるアクション操作があり、それは引き継がれているものの、赤外線登録が無いからAqara製品しか操作できない。つまりエアコンやシーリングライトはアクションで操作出来なくなってしまった。同様にリモコン機能を省いたm100ハブはヤフオクに大量に売りに出ている。どちらも赤外線機能をハード的に省いているのでアップデートでの対応はできないとメーカーは言う。残念な製品である。

Great purchase. Really happy with the image quality, recording capabilities, animal detection and the connectivity. The aqara app makes it really easy to access all the data at any time even without any subscription or cloud shenanigans.

I use the Aqara G350 mainly for indoor monitoring when we are not at home, and so far I’m very happy with it.

What I like most is how flexible it is. I can point it at the front door of our apartment, but also quickly switch to a preset angle facing the big window of our terrace. The zoom is also very useful, and the video quality stays very good when zooming in. The two-way audio is another nice feature and works well for this type of camera.

For me, the biggest advantage is the privacy mode. In the Aqara app, I can automate the camera so it turns off when someone arrives home and turns back on when the last person leaves. I really like that the lenses physically turn inside the shell, so it is not just a software privacy mode. It feels much more reassuring when you are at home.

There is also the option to use a microSD card for recording history, but I personally prefer paying for the subscription so everything is stored online and available in the app.

A small downside is that it does not include a power brick, although it does come with a USB-C cable. Also, I did not really need the built-in hub because I already have the Aqara M3 hub. A cheaper version without the hub would have been nice. That said, for people who do not already have an Aqara hub, this could actually be a good all-in-one option.

Overall, I would absolutely buy it again. It is especially good for people who want home or office security, but also care about real privacy when they are in the same building as the camera.
