Between reps, sets and exercises, not to mention the amount of weight you’re lifting, there’s a lot to keep track of in a typical gym session. That’s what makes Stronger such a helpful app; it provides an easy way to log your workouts so you know exactly what you’ve accomplished every time you go to the gym.
What we love: Stronger isn’t just about logging today’s workout, it’s about planning your next session and tracking your progress over time. Browse the app’s collection of routines, which can be filtered depending on whether you want to work out three, four or five days a week, and watch as your Stronger-generated Strength Score improves with consistent work.

Quick tip: If you’re the kind of lifter who gets spurred on by a spot of light competition, Stronger’s social features are worth checking out. Share your progress in the app’s built-in social feed, and join a group to set up a competitive leaderboard.
Meet the developer: Stronger is the work of Northern Ireland–based developer Atlas Smart Technologies, which was founded in 2021 by Jack Fullerton and brothers Joseph and Peter Gillan. They have found that users typically log four upper-body workouts for every one leg workout, suggesting that there’s some truth to the old joke about weightlifters skipping leg day.
