let me start by saying i have an extreme dislike of highly technical games. that being said, i found this game extremely relaxing and yes, fun. this game has absolutely no story-line but it does have it own unique lore. the mechanics of the game are actually pretty easy to rap your head around. in other words you dont have to be very technical to to play this game. lets talk about the exploration of this game. this map is HUGE and sometimes over whelming, but the geography of this map is amazing! the individual biomes all have there own charms and i emplore you to explore them a lot. there are many hidden gems within them not to mention secrets you may find not only surprising by also visually stunning. i must warn you lol bring weapons cause you will be met with hostility haha, you may even die a few times but it is worth the adventure. for anyone who have not played an open world game i would recommend this game because what makes an open world game more challenging and difficult is the aspect of having to keep track of your surroundings as well as the story-line and interactions between npc's. in this game there is pretty much none of that except for being aware of your surroundings obviously. i also recommend this game because of how easy it is to lose track of time, especially when your so well focused on your current goal in your session. i have gotten so lost in playing this game over the past month ive been playing it, ive already managed to spend 500+ hours playing this and i still feel like ive only just scratched the surface of the content this game has to offer. like any game in this day and age it has its draw backs. one issue ive had is graphics as my own pc sucks im not surprised about it but with everything on low as far as graphics go i barely notice the issue and it doesnt take away from how amazing this game looks or plays. the latest update (update 5) fixed a lot of the issues with clipping cause by belts and construction that makes the game less a hassle to build an effective but easy to follow factory. another issue i had was that hostiles would magically appear out of no where and as they did finally show up turns out i was already dead. but this was mostly just my pc being unable render everything on a moment notice and im not very confident it can be remedied so take it with a grain of salt. an its not difficult to get anything you may have lost back since a chest with everything you have can be seen in the compass making it possible to find your stuff more easily which is a nice little mechanic. the only issue i had with it was if i ended my session and came back it would no longer be on the compass and with how large the map is when that happened getting to it almost never happened. i think keeping beacons on you can help avoid having this issue.(i say "I think" because i may be mixing that mechanic up with subnautica lol). so all in all if ya want a game thats both fun to explore and play while still being visually pleasing and awe-striking i would recommend giving satisfactory a try, even if its a bit out of your comfort zone. i did and im happy to have made that decision. -S_B

an oldie but a goodie. wish more like this were out there. give it a try and see if you want a halo or horns and everything in between :D

i love this game to death. i love every bit of it and i usually hate strategy based games but this one is deffo the exception!!
