We just launched Terragrunt 1.0!! And we're celebrating by putting hardware on your desk. Complete a demo of Terragrunt Scale and we'll send you a Keychron keyboard (you pick the keyboard, up to $150). No gotchas. Sit through a demo, get a keyboard. That's it. If you're running Terraform or OpenTofu across dozens (or hundreds) of environments, Terragrunt Scale was built for you. Terragrunt Scale brings PR plans, apply on merge, drift detection, and automated updates to your existing GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Terragrunt 1.0 is officially here. After nearly a decade of development and 900+ releases, we’re shipping Terragrunt 1.0 with a simple goal: stability you can build on. Along the road to 1.0, we also delivered: — Terragrunt Stacks to define higher level infra patterns and reduce boilerplate for large estates — Streamlined CLI and new commands (exec/backend/find/list) — --filter flag for targeting units/stacks and replaces seven legacy flags — Run Reports (JSON/CSV) for parseable run outcomes — And significant performance improvements (especially if you’re upgrading from older Terragrunt versions) Read the full announcement https://lnkd.in/gHVbJ7Rc We’re also launching Terragrunt Scale Free Tier, an out-of-the-box way to run Terragrunt in CI/CD natively in your GitHub Actions or GitLab CI runners. Drive a supercar at Google Cloud Next! If you’re headed to Google Cloud Next, you could either spend a day sitting in keynotes and breakout sessions, or you could be behind the wheel of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Porsche at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Gruntwork is hosting a supercar driving experience during Google Cloud Next. Join our CEO Zach (who also happens to be a former semi-pro driver) and a group of DevOps and infrastructure leaders for a morning of high-speed driving on the track. Take a break from the convention center and hit 100+ MPH. No slide decks, just great conversations, supercars, and a racetrack. Space is extremely limited. The first release candidate for Terragrunt 1.0 is here! We anticipate roughly 6-8 weeks before the final 1.0 launch, which means this is the critical window for the community to influence the final release. We'll be holding a couple community roundtable sessions on Wed, Feb 11th for Terragrunt users to give feedback on Terragrunt 1.0. Please join and share your experience using the first release candidate of Terragrunt 1.0.

Do you manage your infrastructure using Terragrunt? First — we want to say thank you for using Terragrunt! Second — you probably didn't know, but we built a suite of infra tooling for Terragrunt. It’s the suite of tools we wish we had years ago. -- Pipelines to automate your CI/CD -- Drift Detection to remediate infrastructure drift -- Patcher to keep your IaC up-to-date Give us a few minutes for a demo, get a LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant. No strings attached. https://lnkd.in/gY6ZCzKG

What started as an offhand conversation about our CEO’s background in sports car racing quickly turned into an idea of hosting a supercar driving experience for our customers and partners at AWS re:Invent. With only three weeks’ notice, we had two choices: play it safe or say "yes." We chose to say "yes." The result? 18 customers and partners joined us on the track for an unforgettable day of high-speed driving and networking. But beyond the Ferraris and Lamborghinis, we built meaningful connections that extended far beyond the event. Along the way, we learned a few key lessons on how to make the most of the conference circuit: 1. Talk to everyone Some of our best opportunities came from "adjacent" conversations and warm introductions. A reminder that sometimes, the best leads are often one degree away. 2. Convenience is worth the premium Staying at the main conference hotel isn’t just about comfort — it saves hours of transportation time (and frustration). The time you save in traffic is time you spend with customers. 3. Make it easy for people to find you A well-known landmark (like the Venetian Starbucks) is easier for a busy prospect to find than "Ballroom C." A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us, met with us, and helped make the week unforgettable. And yes — we’re doing it again. The Gruntwork team will be at Google Cloud Next 2026, and we’ll be hosting another supercar driving experience. If you’re planning to attend and want to talk cloud infrastructure (or take a Ferrari for a few laps), we’d love to connect. Drop a comment below or DM us to get on the invite list.

HashiCorp is taking away the Terraform Free plan, so we've accelerated the launch of Terragrunt Scale Free tier. By now many of you have seen the email from HashiCorp announcing the end-of-life for the HCP Terraform Free tier on March 31, 2026. Two years ago, when the license changed, Gruntwork helped stand up OpenTofu to keep the IaC engine open. Today, seeing another squeeze on the community, we decided to pre-announce something we’ve been working on and weren't planning to launch until early next year: Terragrunt Scale Free Tier. Our goal is to provide a free home for personal projects and small teams that matches the limits of the plan you’re losing. We are aiming to have it be self-service ready in 2026. However, because we want to get people migrated before the March deadline, we are opening a waitlist now to start manually onboarding folks in Q1 2026. If you want a stable home for your infra from a company without a history of consistent rug-pulls, we welcome you to check it out: Join Waitlist: https://lnkd.in/ghayNABF More on Terragrunt Scale: https://lnkd.in/gs3dCwm9
