It would be perfectly reasonable to say "I don't care" about this, it's just one
of those things which bugs me.

(Note: this doesn't deal with tabs in the source code since that is still
obviously correct to fix in an automated fashion. Tabs will be a different
patch)

I we can do a test where we see that the resulting lib is byte-for-byte the same
before and after this change... LGTM
